About us

A trustworthy home for health information and help in Liberia

Cleanslate Liberia is a public-health and social-impact NGO. We raise awareness, educate with accurate information, and connect people discreetly to the support they need — across five mission areas.

What we believe

The principles behind our work

Compassion first

We meet people with care and respect, never judgement. Everyone deserves accurate help and a fresh start.

Accuracy as safety

Health content is reviewed by a clinical advisor before it is published, and referrals are verified — because wrong information can cause harm.

Privacy by design

We minimise the data people must reveal and the trace they leave. The public site collects no sensitive health information.

Person-first language

We speak of people, not labels — “a person who uses drugs”, “a person living with HIV” — and we work to reduce stigma everywhere.

Our reach

Five mission areas, one organisation

We work across drug abuse prevention and recovery; HIV, TB, and malaria; sexual and reproductive health and rights and women’s and children’s health; youth development; and education. Each area shares accurate information, reduces stigma, and offers a clear path to help.

Everything we publish is built to be safe and private for the vulnerable people it serves, and to be kept current by our own team.
